Joseph J. White sells only top quality fresh and fresh-frozen cranberries and blueberries.
Our cranberries are grown by 5th generation cranberry farmers, Joe Darlington and Brenda Conner, who diligently practice IPM (Integrated Pest Management), assuring the consumer of first-quality, healthy fruit with minimal environmental impact. Sold under the Cranberry Connection Label, our cranberries are not only large and beautiful to look at, but also delicious, wholesome, and good for you. All fresh cranberries are dry-picked, using the Darlington Picker, invented right here on our farm by Joe’s dad, Tom Darlington. Cranberries are sold fresh during the months of October, November, and December … stock up and freeze some for use all year long.
The highbush blueberry industry was started here on our farm, known as Whitesbog, by Joe’s great-aunt, Elizabeth White. Grown on the farm that started it all, by descendants of the “Blueberry Queen,” our top quality fresh blueberries are marketed under the Tru-Blu-Berries brand, also started by Aunt Elizabeth, and of which we are Grower #1. We harvest the Elizabeth Variety berries, known for superior size and taste, from the oldest known field of this variety, which was planted by Elizabeth herself. Full of flavor and health benefits, you’ll want to order your fresh berries for pick-up in July. We also fresh-freeze a limited supply, so get your order in early and enjoy premium Elizabeth Variety Blueberries year-round.
